Harrisburg Mayor Wanda Williams broke her silence Friday on a week of 'tragic loss' that started with a fatal crash involving a city police officer and ended with a homicide at the crash memorial site. 'As mayor, I am the leader of this city. But more than that, I am a lifelong resident of Harrisburg, parent and grandparent, and my sole obligation is to continue to work hard at keeping our community safe,' Williams said in a video posted Friday afternoon to the city of Harrisburg's social media accounts.
